Married in 1996, Maurice and Lauren Hooks have served together in the full time ministry for the past 12 years; Maurice as Leader and Evangelist, and Lauren as a Women’s Ministry Leader. Converted in the University of Kansas campus ministry in 1991, Maurice led the singles here in Kansas City for a year before moving to Dallas in 1992 where he led the teen ministry for 9 years.
Lauren Honore Hooks, a Louisiana native, was baptized in 1989 as a campus student in New York. After attending graduate school back in New Orleans, she moved to Dallas and married Maurice. The couple led the Tulsa, OK church in 1999, and a Teen and Campus region of the Dallas-Fort Worth Church of Christ Jesus from 2000 to 2003. Returning to Tulsa, Maurice and Lauren have served as Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader for the past 5 years. The Hooks are passionate about following Jesus and invite you to join us!
Rob and LaShonda Milner

Rob and LaShonda Milner became christians at the age of 19; Rob in Atlanta and LaShonda on the campus of LSU in Baton Rouge. They led in the campus and teen ministries in New Orleans for a few years and were married in 1997. They went into the full-time ministry in 1999 where they led a sector and then a region of the Dallas-Fort Worth church. Then in 2002, the couple moved to serve and support the church in Wichita, Kansas. They are excited about getting back into the full-time ministry here in the Kansas City.
